Kyuquot Sound is an unsung 'legendary' salmon
fishing paradise located on the west coast of Vancouver Island
in British Columbia, Canada. As the sun rises, your senses slowly
awaken to the allure of the "big one" while your guide prepares
you for the challenge you've been anticipating.
With the intimate size of our lodge (accommodating
groups of 8 to 12 guests) we offer personal, top quality service
to each and every guest. From the time you arrive we want you
to feel right at home. As a group booking of 8 or more we offer
the lodge exclusively to your group so you may enjoy your fishing
adventure in the company of friends or family so pack that lucky
fishing shirt or hat and get up here!

experience in Kyuquot! We offer all-inclusive guided sport fishing
charters in 22' - 26' professionally outfitted and guided boats.

Our tackle and equipment is top of the line, up-to-date technology.
With only 2 guests for each guided boat there
is plenty of space for the fish- and you will need it!
Comfortable seating, spacious decks and a covered
cabin are all features that are offered.
Nestled between Quatsino to the north and Nootka
to the south, Kyuquot sits ready and waiting for the best runs
of Chinook, Halibut and Coho in the world - without the crowds!!

Your private dock is right out front, making it
easy to access your boat and enjoy the action surrounding the
day's catch.
Go for a short stroll along the boardwalk and
visit with locals or pick up a souvenir at the general store.
Trails link each other throughout the island and are all accessible
from the Beach House.
The natural setting, abundant wildlife and world
class fishing offer something for everyone. Our flexible schedule
allows you the freedom to plan your stay and your activities to
suit you best.
A typical day at the Beach House may include an
early rise with a steaming mug of coffee with fresh croissants
and fruit before heading out for a morning of exciting fishing.
The Beach House
Our lodgings are intimate and unique. We can accommodate
groups of up to 12--ideal for family gatherings or small corporate
retreats.
The Beach House is yours to treat as your own,
with six guest rooms offering twin accommodations. Our central
living area is a spacious room with wood burning rock fireplace,
perfect for relaxing and recounting the day's catch. Many fish
stories have grown up right here!
A large covered porch offers a picturesque view
of the ongoing activities in the harbour. Evenings may include
a round of darts, game of cribbage or catching up on a newly released
movie.
Meals are simple and tasty, using the freshest
ingredients. Dinner may consist of the "catch of the day" along
with home-baked bread and desserts. Prawns and mussels are local
specialties.
We are mindful of allergies and dietary concerns
and offer flexibility to our guests as needed.
Kayaking
If you choose to spend your day exploring the
area on foot or by kayak you may run into Charlie the seal, our
local mascot, or come across a beach perfect for gathering glass
fish floats. The ever-changing landscape and peaceful surrounding
are perfect for sketching, but be sure to be back at the Beach
House for a steaming bowl of mussel chowder for lunch. The afternoon
is free for more fishing, or lounge with a good book in the sun.
Stroll along the boardwalk meeting local villagers, tell a fish
story or two and get reacquainted with family and friends.
